  Girls Middle School Lacrosse
In the Spring of 2004 the Stamford Youth Foundation founded a middle school lacrosse program for boys and girls in order to introduce lacrosse to Stamford's middle school children. The girls program has operated for five consecutive seasons. In 2007 and 2008 there were two SYF teams, and two are also expected for 2009. 

SYF's girls season runs from early April through early June. The team plays girls teams from surrounding towns, inlcuding Norwalk, Greenwich and New Canaan. Games are usually played on Saturdays at Boyle Stadium (Stamford High) or at opponent's sites.
