Football and Cheer registration is open for the Fall 2010 season as of May 2. Registration will close on September 6 for Middle School and Elementary and on September 10 for Mitey Mite.

Registration is online as in past seasons and links are below. For 2010 coaches are also asked to register online.

Registration is open for middle school girls field hockey.

Field Hockey Registration - Fall 2010 [Register Here]

For 2010 SYF will operate one team that competes in the Fairfield County Field Hockey Association ("FCFHA") www.fcfha.com which is comprised of 25 teams from 11 towns. The team will be coached by Brooke and Kristin Cognetta. Practice is tentatively planned for Wed and/or Thurs at Rippowam, but stay tuned for the practice schedule update. Games will be mostly on weekends.

As was previously announced, long-time Program Director Mary Michailidis has regretfully stepped aside. [A note from Mary is attached. Dear Field Hockey Family.docx ] Mary is a fixture in the field hockey community and has done a great job leading this program over the years.

SYF will operate a "house" program after as in past years ONLY IF addtional coaches and a program coordinator step forward, and registration is high enough. Similarly, a second travel team can be formed if additional coaches step forward.

If a house program does not arise the Darien field hockey program, led by Kelly Vegilante, has offered to accomodate some girls. Please stay tuned for further details coming soon. Their 7th/8th grade program started Sept 1 and the 6th grade program begins Sept. 7.

Below is the football equipment distribution schedule for this season. All equipment will be distributed at Board of Rec building on Courtland Avenue, as in past years.

	Cloonan defeats Dolan 7-0 for MS Baseball Championship

Congratulations to Cloonan for winning the middle school baseball championship for 2010. They defeated Dolan in a solid 7-0 victory. Pictured is the victorious Cloonan team.
